STOW MILLER
I am a Denver-based artist specializing in oil and acrylic on canvas. My work explores the often-overlooked dimensions of perception and mindset, inviting viewers to engage with narratives that challenge and expand their understanding. Each piece is crafted to serve as a visual archetype, encouraging personal discovery and interpretation.
Inspired by Alois Riegl’s theory of The Beholder’s Share, I integrate figurative, contemporary, and pop art motifs to juxtapose representation and abstraction. This interplay seeks to foster new cognitive frameworks, sparking a dialogue between the seen and the imagined.
